PNW Division of Family Practice Physician and Nurse Practitioner members receive FREE access to UpToDate. Clinicians around the world trust UpToDate as their go-to, must-have evidence-based clinical decision support resource to help them make smart, safe patient care decisions.
Members who have already purchased UpToDate can apply to be reimbursed if done so within 30 days of sign-up. Email UpToDate Customer Service or phone 1-800-998-6374 for further information.
The best way to reach UpToDate is through the division membership toolbar*. If you haven’t done so, log in to the Divisions website here. Once logged in, you should see a link to UpToDate in the toolbar at the top of the page.
The first time you access UpToDate, you will see a form called “Register for an UpToDate account”. Please note that an UpToDate account (and password) are entirely separate from your Division Website.
It is possible, though not recommended, to skip this step and register later. You will still be able to search UpToDate and the system will track your CME credits, but you will not be able to submit your CME credits or access UpToDate through a mobile device until you register.
Depending on your browser settings, UpToDate may remember your log-in information.

Students and residents are eligible for access to UpToDate under the Divisions of Family Practice license, however you must apply through the Student / Resident site and not through a local division. They have a separate process for accepting members and are not able to provide UpToDate access to students or residents.
Please complete the form found on the Student & Resident site, when completing the form, select student & resident under division. Following the completion of your application, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your student number and when you expect to graduate/complete your residency. Once everything has been processed, you will receive your log-in information and more information on how to access UpToDate.
