Pacific Locum Network Grizzly

The Pacific Northwest Division of Family Practice Locum Network actively bridges the gap between locum physicians and community clinics through coordinated matching, funding support, and flexible placements across rural and remote communities in our geographic area. Whether you’re a Primary Care clinic needing coverage or a physician seeking regional locum work, the PNW Locum Network offers structured, proactive support to make these placements smoother, accessible, and mutually beneficial.

In addition to local coordination, the PNW Division is highly engaged in recruitment efforts. Each year, representatives from the Pacific Northwest Division attend multiple medical conferences across BC and Canada to connect directly with physicians, residents, and medical students. These events are key opportunities to promote the unique practice opportunities in rural northwest BC and to build awareness of the benefits of working in the region.

Beyond conferences, the Pacific Northwest Division places a strong emphasis on long-term relationship building with medical learners. By maintaining connections with students and residents over the course of their training, the PNW Locum Network fosters interest in rural practice early on.

The PNW Division ensures that physicians feel welcomed, supported, and connected—no matter where they are in their career journey.
