Wheels of Hope: Helping Cancer Patients Get a Ride to Cancer Care
The Canadian Cancer Society’s Wheels of Hope Transportation Program provides safe, comfortable rides at no cost for people undergoing cancer treatment who have no other way to get to their appointments.
Many people in B.C., especially those living in rural or remote communities, must travel long distances for cancer care. Transportation challenges can become a significant barrier to completing treatment.
Wheels of Hope connects patients with volunteer drivers, helping ensure they can access the care they need — because cancer treatment shouldn’t depend on having a ride.
