Together, the Pacific Northwest Division of Family Practice members work to improve patient access to local primary care, increase local physicians’ influence on health care delivery and policy, and provide professional support for physicians.

An opportunity for people who live in the Pacific Northwest of BC who struggle with persistent pain to meet regularly and build a community of support while learning about pain, pain management and coping strategies.

Through an initiative called CAPES (Cutting Administrative Processes with Efficient Solutions), the Division is working to minimize the time and effort physicians spend on non-clinical tasks—such as paperwork, billing, and navigating complex healthcare systems.

With an interdisciplinary team, the Houston Pulmonary Rehab Clinic provides services to patients with COPD and similar illnesses through exercise and education.
