PharmaNet

The Pacific Northwest Division of Family Practice provides FREE access to PharmaNet to all Physician and Nurse Practitioner members.

Every prescription dispensed in community pharmacies in B.C. is entered into PharmaNet.

PharmaNet, administered by the Ministry of Health, was developed in consultation with health professionals and the public to improve prescription safety and support prescription claim processing.

** PRIME enrollment required for new PharmaNet users as of December 1, 2020**

PRIME is an online application for eligible health care practitioners who use PharmaNet to deliver direct patient care. The application is designed to significantly reduce the amount of paperwork and record keeping faced by doctors’ offices and health care facilities. As of December 1, 2020, all new PharmaNet users, who need PharmaNet to deliver direct patient care, will enroll in PRIME.
