The Pacific Northwest Division of Family Practice is committed to supporting Resident Physicians and Medical Students across the rural northwest. By actively participating in several conferences each year, the Division works to build meaningful and lasting relationships with medical learners from across the country. These efforts are aimed at fostering interest in rural medicine and providing practical pathways for learners to explore careers in underserved areas. The Division offers hands-on assistance with connections to local physicians, access to support networks, and help in securing housing, making it easier for Residents and Medical Students to integrate into rural communities and thrive in their training experiences.
